Welcome to Fiveko Graphics web-based demo application. FivekoGFX is a tiny FREE WebGL-based image processing library. Use the combo-box below to select the image processing filter you want. You can use the Browse button to choose an image from your computer. Use the Camera button to apply computer vision filters directly on frames from your camera.

Sobel filter

Sobel is a well-known image processing operator for image contour detection. This is a fast and fairly accurate filter with good edge detection results. Follow the link to read more about Sobel filter tutorial.

Gaussian filter

Gaussian blur is a non-linear noise reduction filter. Use the Sigma slider to control the power of the blurring effect. Follow the link to read more about Gaussian filter tutorial.

Mean filter

Hough Circles Detection

Hough circles transform is a quick method of finding circular shapes in an image.

  • Use the Size slider to control the circles radius.
  • Use the Sigma slider to control the Canny blur strength.

Symmetric Nearest Neighbour

Symmetric NN is non-linear edge preserving filter that results in oil-paint effect. The results are close to these of Median and Kuwahara filters.

  • Use the Count slider to control the number of iterations.
  • Use the Intesity slider to control the strength of the filter effect.

Cartoon effect

Cartoon effect is based on Bilateral filter and similar to SymmetricNN and Kuwahara filters results in paint effect.

  • Use the Count slider to control the number of iterations.
  • Use the Intesity slider to control the strength of the cartoonization effect.

You can currently choose from the following OpenGL based color space conversion algorithms:

  • RGB to Grayscale
  • RGB to HSL
  • RGB to YCbCr
  • RGB to XYZ
